Kim’s vision for McNairy County — practical priorities focused on growth, stewardship, safety, and service.
Kim Bienash believes county government should be a partner to its people, its industry, and its cities — not an obstacle. These are the priorities he’ll bring to the McNairy County Mayor’s office.
Consistent job growth is the engine that funds everything else — roads, schools, safety, and services. As Mayor, Kim will meet monthly with every industrial leader in the county to make sure their needs are met, they feel welcome, and they can rely on McNairy County government as a partner. Retaining and growing the employers we already have is just as important as recruiting new ones, and Kim’s decades inside local manufacturing give him a real understanding of what it takes to keep good jobs here at home.
County government must run efficiently. Kim will examine every program for opportunities to run leaner and smarter — because every dollar saved is a dollar that can go toward roads, public safety, and the services residents actually need. Sound budgeting and honest accounting aren’t just good politics; they’re a basic duty to the taxpayers of McNairy County.
Piecemeal fixes are costing us more in the long run. Kim will work with every city in the county to develop real 10–20 year infrastructure plans for roads, bridges, and utilities — so we’re building for the future instead of patching the past. Long-term planning lets the county compete for state and federal dollars and stops the cycle of emergency repairs that drain the budget.
Protecting the lives and property of McNairy County citizens is the number-one responsibility of county government. Kim will fully support all first responders — law enforcement, fire, and EMS — with the tools, training, and resources they need to keep our families safe. Having volunteered alongside emergency crews through tornado recovery and disaster response, Kim has seen firsthand what our responders are up against.
McNairy County residents shouldn’t pay more than necessary for solid waste services. Kim will pursue cheaper options and explore greater state involvement to reduce costs and improve service for every household in the county. Smart contracts and regional cooperation can lower the burden on families without cutting the service they depend on.
Kim is committed to completing and sustaining our Emergency Room in partnership with Magnolia so future generations can rely on local healthcare close to home. He’ll also pursue housing grants through the Southwest Tennessee Development District to address the housing shortage — including homes still unrepaired from tornado damage. Healthcare access and safe, available housing are foundational to keeping McNairy County a place where families can put down roots and stay.
